Base Salary
$88k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, release, and support features in web-based, cloud-hosted applications.
- Provide feedback through code and software design reviews while collaborating with and learning from teammates.
- Help enhance the engineering process, products, and technology platform.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and designers to develop creative and effective solutions.
- Design software that meets functional and technical requirements and communicate designs effectively.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant professional software development experience.
- Experience building web applications or data processing systems.
- Familiarity with web technologies and depth of experience with at least one common programming language.
- Experience with front-end technologies, back-end technologies, and database technology.
- Ability to design software to meet functional and technical requirements and communicate designs effectively.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and critically while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
- A 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- Helpful qualifications include healthcare, biology, genomics, or related academic or professional experience, familiarity with the listed technology stack, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
