Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of software quality by following sound engineering practices.
- Develop, test, and document Java-based software components according to requirements.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Write unit tests covering robustness, edge cases, and reliability.
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and code.
- Create design documentation.
- Plan and support releases.
- Support the QA team in delivering high-quality software.
- Work in a scaled Agile environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Java 17 and Java 21.
- Understanding of HTTP, TCP, and SFTP protocols.
- Experience developing REST services.
- Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with multiple application servers.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks or open-source libraries.
- Experience with SOA and REST/SOAP web services.
- Understanding of SSL, TLS, and certificate handling.
- Experience with Jira, Git, Maven, TeamCity, Jenkins, Artifactory, and other continuous integration tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
- Google Cloud experience is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing.
