Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend applications and reusable component libraries for Payabli and its platform partners.
- Develop hosted payment forms, white-label components, and drop-in interfaces that run inside third-party products.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services through APIs and real-time data streams.
- Lead code reviews, establish frontend standards, and drive architectural decisions.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, documentation, and technical leadership.
- Own the full development lifecycle from requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and C#.
- Strong understanding of CSS, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience integrating APIs from multiple services and handling loading states, errors, and edge cases.
- Experience with Redux, Zustand, or comparable state-management frameworks.
- Understanding of web security principles including XSS, CSRF, and CSP.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to design, product, engineering, and leadership partners.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior fintech or payments technology experience is preferred.
- Experience building embeddable or white-label UI components, including CSS isolation, versioning, and cross-origin challenges, is preferred.
