Base Salary
$171k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Modernize and advance the organization-wide front-end micro-front-end platform architecture.
- Design and implement reusable front-end tools, components, frameworks, and shared component systems.
- Lead development of sophisticated, performant React user interfaces across multiple devices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering on product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and promote code quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for front-end best practices and adoption of new technologies.
- Maintain high-quality code standards and contribute to the evolution of the technology stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Professional expertise with React and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling.
- Familiarity with React hooks and strong understanding of micro-front-end architecture.
- Experience with Storybook and Material UI is preferred.
- Experience with shared component design, style guides, wireframes, and responsive and adaptive applications.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and addressing cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong performance optimization, scalability, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and work independently and collaboratively.
