Base Salary
$70k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and test Terraform and Python automation for provisioning, deploying, managing, and operating OCI virtual networking fleets.
- Implement scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant infrastructure components and execute performance, load, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain runbooks, dashboards, telemetry, alarms, alerting, retry mechanisms, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
- Participate in fleet operations, change management, operational support rotations, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
- Evaluate partner service requests in the context of fleet scale, capacity, operational risk, and cost, and coordinate feasible approaches.
- Assist with security controls, remediation plans, cloud compliance documentation, patching, updates, and rollbacks.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of virtual networking.
- Ability to own well-scoped tasks with limited day-to-day direction.
- Ability to track work, prioritize changing requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems when appropriate.
- Familiarity with C++ is beneficial but not required.
- Experience supporting infrastructure in a hyperscale cloud environment is beneficial but not required.
- Experience building infrastructure or tooling for automated testing is beneficial but not required.
