Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Java software products as part of an Integrated Product Team.
- Participate in software design, implementation, build, test, integration, and release activities.
- Develop Java Enterprise Edition enterprise solutions in a service-oriented architecture environment.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, web services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
- Collaborate with developers, integrators, system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers in a lab environment.
- Work across the software lifecycle in a process-oriented development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience, or a master's degree and 6 years, or a PhD and 3 years.
- Direct experience developing Java applications.
- Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance that is in scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) before employment begins.
- Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; Java Enterprise Edition and SOA experience; and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Cucumber, Knockout, and web technologies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills are preferred.
