Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, maintain, and decommission infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure and AWS.
- Automate build, deployment, and release processes with Python, PowerShell, Shell, Perl, and Batch.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing, quality assurance, and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application deployment, networking, operating system, and cloud environment issues.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, including operating system deployment and platform-level support.
- Manage Chef, Puppet, and Ansible configuration management tools and automation use cases.
- Operate VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vRA virtualization and cloud management platforms.
- Implement security best practices and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with distributed development, QA, IT, and infrastructure teams on DevOps solutions.
- Manage Azure networking components including networks, firewalls, DMZs, VNets, and subnets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience administering cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, Infrastructure as Code, and automation-driven deployments.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Shell, Perl, or Batch scripting.
- Experience with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible configuration management tools.
- Exposure to VMware ESXi, vCenter, and cloud management platforms.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems independently and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
- Preferred experience includes Terraform, dynamic public/private/hybrid clouds, vendor management, FinOps, cost optimization, and cloud governance.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server certification is preferred.
- Preferred technical experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Perl, Shell, Batch, and PowerShell.
