Base Salary
$100k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain drivers and kernel services for IPC and system-level debugging across Qualcomm SoCs.
- Design, implement, document, test, and debug embedded software across multiple operating systems.
- Analyze requirements, software feasibility, interfaces, performance constraints, and hardware or OS limitations.
- Troubleshoot issues spanning hardware, operating systems, compilers, and drivers.
- Complete assigned coding tasks, resolve straightforward software bugs, and escalate complex technical issues appropriately.
- Collaborate with project leads, peers, engineers, OS providers, OEMs, ODMs, and carriers.
- Contribute to software performance optimization, innovation, and productization across Qualcomm product families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with C and data structures.
- Knowledge of Windows development, driver modules, Linux kernel debugging, CPU architecture, memory and bus architecture, and interprocessor communications.
- Ability to debug complex problems across hardware, operating systems, compilers, and drivers.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, ARM CoreSight knowledge, Windows, Visual Studio, LLVM, Windows Performance Analyzer, compiler and JIT experience, CPU benchmark optimization, ETM familiarity, Python or Perl, Assembly, C++, and embedded security architecture knowledge.
