Base Salary
$194k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, high-performance onboard platforms that enable autonomy teams to integrate software and algorithms across self-driving platforms.
- Build systems and tools for continuous performance analysis, latency reduction, and resource efficiency.
- Develop device drivers, inter-device protocols and pipelines, device runtime APIs, and hardware-agnostic platforms for sensor and compute systems.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and safety teams to integrate new hardware and software and resolve onboard errors and performance issues.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to define, evaluate, and integrate next-generation hardware platforms and supporting testing and validation tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong C++ skills.
- Experience with one or more of large-scale distributed systems, computer architecture and operating systems, advanced C++ and Python algorithms, highly concurrent or multithreaded systems, performance tuning, profiling and tracing infrastructure, robotics software frameworks, robotics hardware components, or x86, ARM, GPU, and FPGA computing.
- Strong problem-solving and programming skills.
