Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation for infrastructure and PostgreSQL platform operations using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational tooling.
Standardize and automate platform operations across environments with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, and self-service.
Own the reliability, availability, and operational stability of production platform services.
Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions.
Operate and optimize PostgreSQL environments, including high availability, replication, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
Improve observability through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, logging, metrics, and operational analytics.
Contribute to technical roadmaps, documentation, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and adoption of DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.

At least 7 years of recent experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
At least 5 years of recent hands-on experience operating production-critical environments.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
Recent project experience with infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Ansible.
Scripting experience with Python and Bash.
Strong recent PostgreSQL administration and production operations experience, including high availability, replication, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Experience with observability, monitoring, incident management, SLAs/SLOs, and reliability engineering practices.
Fluent English is required.
German, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Grafana, Zabbix, Patroni, open-source infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and large enterprise experience are preferred.
