Base Salary
$225k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software development projects from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance.
- Design and develop full-stack software solutions using technologies including Python, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, C#, SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux.
- Migrate and modernize legacy applications and existing systems to the cloud.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and support containerized systems using Kubernetes, EKS, or comparable orchestration software.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system operations using Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Reverse engineer legacy codebases and produce UML models, system designs, Interface Control Documents, and operational procedures.
- Support secure communications systems and comply with operational and security standards.
- Research, prototype, and recommend improvements to systems and architectures.
- Resolve complex software, performance, and infrastructure issues and support on-call operations for critical systems.
- Communicate with clients, manage project deliverables, and facilitate process working groups.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies, secure systems engineering, systems integration, and reverse engineering.
- Experience with EKS, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration software.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and DevOps skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Splunk, and diagramming applications.
- Background in on-call support and operational monitoring of critical systems.
- Preferred experience with AWS, design systems, component libraries, high-availability systems, secure communications, technical writing, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
