Base Salary
$145k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers on security and compliance.
- Evaluate customer infrastructure diagrams and data flows for security automation.
- Present security scan results and assist customers in interpreting findings.
- Bridge the gap between regulatory control language and Smartsheet implementation.
- Provide support during major customer security incidents and ensure compliance.
- Represent Smartsheet's security strategy at industry events and conferences.
- Respond to complex customer security inquiries and questionnaires.
- Collaborate with product engineering to define technical specs for security features.
- Translate customer security concerns into clear technical definitions.
- Create and distribute technical assets like white papers and video demonstrations.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain CI/CD and SDLC best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AAA implementations and security tooling.
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security, particularly in security engineering.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, ISO, SOC 2, FedRAMP, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience conducting security reviews and threat modeling.
