Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy scalable security controls for corporate, development, and production cloud environments.
- Develop and automate infrastructure-as-code to securely manage and scale cloud deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments, identify security weaknesses and configuration drift, and remediate issues.
- Partner with infrastructure, application, and product teams to embed security best practices and protect mission-critical data.
- Engineer highly available, resilient systems and processes that support rapid growth.
- Provide cloud security guidance, mentorship, and paved-road solutions across the organization.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in cloud security, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep proficiency in at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Programming or scripting ability in one or more languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Understanding of public cloud networking principles including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
- U.S. Person status and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience hardening and monitoring Kubernetes clusters using EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Preferred experience with cloud security posture management or threat detection tooling.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software supply-chain security.
- Preferred knowledge of FedRAMP, SOC 2, or CMMC compliance frameworks.
