Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction of TeamViewer’s web platform, including the frontend framework, component library, accessibility, performance, and user experience.
- Define standards for consistently delivering AI-powered features and agent experiences across TeamViewer web products.
- Establish frontend architecture standards covering component design, reusable patterns, design systems, and maintainable code structures.
- Drive quality through automated testing, accessibility compliance, performance monitoring, and AI experience evaluation.
- Lead architecture reviews, provide technical guidance, and support teams during project delivery.
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams across products, platforms, and locations.
- Maintain architectural documentation and identify and mitigate technical risks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in large-scale web application architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, design systems, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Experience designing and scaling AI-enabled web experiences, including performance, reliability, accessibility, and user interaction considerations.
- Strong understanding of frontend quality practices, including testing, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience evaluating technical risk involving dependencies, open-source software, and compliance considerations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
