Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Salesforce Core platform subject-matter expert for project delivery and Agentforce readiness.
- Design and guide enterprise solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform.
- Create application and technical design documents, data flows, system diagrams, and other technical artifacts.
- Provide guidance on integration development, enterprise architecture standards, environment management, and coding standards.
- Lead code reviews, solution testing, validation, and technical discussions across teams.
- Facilitate executive customer stakeholder engagements and align technology strategy with business value and ROI.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and drive successful resolutions through proactive risk management.
- Travel to client sites for onsite discovery and solution presentations, estimated at 25%.
Requirements
- Direct experience designing and configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce Core solutions for enterprise use cases.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, sharing and security architecture, governor limits, multi-org strategy, metadata, and declarative-versus-programmatic trade-offs.
- Ability to document solutions clearly, including data flows, system diagrams, and technical artifacts.
- Ability to translate client requirements and business processes into Salesforce solutions.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Platform Events API patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with business systems.
- Experience leading inter-team meetings, conducting solution testing, and validating implementations.
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years of direct experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and the broader Lightning Platform.
- Preferred: 8+ years in solution or technical architecture or consulting focused on enterprise application design and complex integrations.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agentforce, platform-native automation and AI tooling, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, and Data 360.
- Preferred: Application/System Architect credentials, six or more Salesforce Core certifications, Agentforce Specialist certification, and Data 360 certification.
- Strong written, verbal, visual, tactical, and executive-level communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
