Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications, data services, infrastructure, and enterprise integrations.
- Automate deployment of Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Databricks notebooks, APIs, and cloud resources using infrastructure as code.
- Implement and manage authentication, authorization, certificate management, encryption, and secure connectivity within cloud architectures.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and operational readiness processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to establish secure cloud engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of DevOps, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and enterprise deployment automation solutions.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Bicep or similar infrastructure as code technologies, and Azure DevOps environments.
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, Azure Networking, Git, PowerShell, Bash, and secure cloud platform operations.
- Ability to lead DevSecOps initiatives, promote secure software delivery practices, and support highly available production cloud environments.
- Federal cloud experience, including VA, DoD, or other federal environments, is desirable.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
- Experience with F5 load balancers, Azure Application Gateway, mTLS, PKI, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust principles is desirable.
- U.S. citizenship, successful completion of a background check, and ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance are required.
