Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modernize, enhance, and support secure enterprise-grade full-stack web applications.
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces and scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, workflows, search, reporting, versioning, and content management capabilities.
- Contribute to architecture, solution design, service decomposition, integration strategies, coding standards, modernization, and technical decision-making.
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational data models, database queries, stored procedures, and data access layers.
- Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, encryption, audit logging, privacy controls, traceability, data integrity, and compliance capabilities.
- Develop automated unit, integration, functional, performance, accessibility, and end-to-end tests and support code reviews and vulnerability remediation.
- Support CI/CD, deployment automation, release management, monitoring, logging, observability, troubleshooting, and production operations.
- Collaborate with product, business analysis, UX, architecture, quality, security, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor developers and communicate technical recommendations, risks, trade-offs, and design decisions.
- Support software validation, documentation, audit readiness, governance, electronic records, audit trails, access management, and retention requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, full-stack development, or enterprise application delivery.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, reusable UI components, accessibility, usability, browser compatibility, and web performance.
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or comparable enterprise front-end frameworks.
- Strong experience with Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Python, or equivalent backend technologies, including APIs, microservices, service-oriented architectures, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, performance optimization, asynchronous processing, messaging, event-driven architectures, and workflow services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, release management, containerization, cloud-native architectures, infrastructure automation, orchestration, monitoring, logging, tracing, and operational support.
- Knowledge of secure software development, OWASP guidelines, RBAC, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, encryption, audit logging, privacy controls, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience delivering complex web applications across the software development lifecycle and working with Agile, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.
- Preferred experience includes Life Sciences, clinical or regulatory platforms, medical writing, content management, document authoring, workflow, structured data, search, collaborative authoring, document generation, and regulated environments.
- Preferred knowledge includes ICH M11, CDISC USDM, EDC, CTMS, eTMF, RTSM, RIM, GxP, Computer System Validation, CAPA, Change Control, and Audit Readiness.
- Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, Java, .NET, Agile, DevOps, Security, or related domains are a plus.
