Base Salary
$125k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain FreeWheel AdManager SDKs across Web, iOS/tvOS, Android, and Connected TV platforms.
- Design stable, well-documented APIs for video players and applications integrating with FreeWheel services.
- Translate product and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions with product, QA, solutions engineering, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and release activities.
- Improve SDK performance, reliability, test coverage, observability, and developer experience.
- Support customers and internal teams with complex player integrations and production issues.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Work a regular onsite schedule four days per week, with nights, weekends, or variable schedules as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in object-oriented or functional design, debugging, testing, and API design.
- Professional software development experience with Web/JavaScript and modern browser technologies, iOS/tvOS with Objective-C and/or Swift, or Android with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing, or integrating client-side libraries, SDKs, applications, or reusable software components.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multiple components or systems.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Five to seven years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered instead.

- New York base pay range of $125,439.15-$188,158.73, with additional bonus eligibility for most non-sales positions.
