Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain systems within a microservices architecture.
- Own the entire lifecycle of a feature from database design to frontend application development.
- Support the integration of AI models and automated workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to solve complex business problems.
- Contribute to code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Build highly available, secure, and distributed systems.
- Rapidly build and launch products using CI/CD best practices.
- Incorporate metrics and monitoring to ensure high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Full-stack capability with experience in databases, backend services (Java/Ruby), and frontend frameworks (React).
- Passion for writing simple, well-tested code.
- Experience or interest in working with AI APIs and machine learning models.
- 2+ years of design and architecture knowledge.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, specifically Java, Ruby, or TypeScript.
- Experience with deploying and maintaining production services on cloud infrastructure (AWS).
