Base Salary
$112k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features from problem definition through design, implementation, release, measurement, and iteration.
- Build scalable front-end solutions using Next.js or React with a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Architect, deploy, and operate applications on AWS and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Use AI tools and agentic development workflows across design, coding, testing, debugging, reviewing, and shipping.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into reliable technical solutions with product, design, data, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to architecture and technical strategy decisions involving scalability, maintainability, and business impact.
- Mentor engineers, improve team workflows, and influence engineering practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, including possible nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong production experience building full-stack software across front end and back end.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or React and a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating applications on AWS with Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, testing, observability, and maintainability.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Preferred experience using AI coding agents, AI-assisted reviews, prompt-driven development, or multi-agent workflows.
- Preferred experience with automated testing, production operations, greenfield or rapidly evolving products, fintech or mortgage servicing, and mentoring engineers.
