Base Salary
$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable platform capabilities, infrastructure, and tooling aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
- Drive software design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine-learning components for automation and multi-step reasoning.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence.
- Translate stakeholder problems into actionable technical requirements and track success metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 4 years of software engineering experience, or 6 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation.
- Strong experience with software design patterns, API design, and platform development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Java.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Cosmos DB, and MS SQL Server.
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including deployment, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to conduct design reviews and use data-driven decision-making to optimize engineering outcomes.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and 2 years of software engineering experience, plus knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
