Base Salary
$66k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software, scalable APIs and microservices, and secure third-party and AI/LLM integrations.
- Lead system architecture and participate in design and code reviews while applying containerization, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and secure secrets management.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps.
- Design and optimize relational databases, including indexing, complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning.
- Manage data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouse architecture, and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
- Maintain database and data security, backup and disaster recovery, data governance, and PII/HIPAA compliance.
- Prepare datasets for AI/ML and administer vector and embedding stores used for RAG.
- Design, deploy, and maintain RPA solutions and integrate bots with APIs and enterprise systems.
- Build LLM and agentic solutions using RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and multi-step agents, and evaluate model quality, latency, and cost.
- Apply responsible AI practices including logging, human review, hallucination mitigation, and bias and accuracy monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with a BS/BA, 0 years with an MS/MA, or 6 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Application development experience and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, Visual Studio, the .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and object-oriented programming.
- Complex SQL query and stored procedure development experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Python experience for automation and data tasks.
- Familiarity with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate and automation workflow design.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party and AI/LLM provider APIs.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Git and collaborative GitHub/GitLab development workflows.
- Exposure to Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, or embedding-based search.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven design, test-driven development, MLOps/LLMOps, model evaluation, prompt and version management, guardrails, and cost/latency optimization is desired.
- Exposure to pandas, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, notebooks, open-source LLMs, Azure, AWS, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, AWS Bedrock, or SageMaker is desired.
- Healthcare and HIPAA knowledge and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills are desired.
