Base Salary
$92k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain mission-operational software product lines.
- Develop new software capabilities for national security space missions.
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services.
- Collaborate with multiple subsystem teams and specialized software groups.
- Develop software using server-side languages including C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Use Atlassian tools and participate in Agile development processes.
- Support software development in Linux, Git, DevOps pipeline, and containerized runtime environments as applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active SCI clearance at application or active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI before starting.
- Object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with one or more of C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Experience developing scalable backend solutions.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services.
- Proficiency with Agile principles and Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes, containerized software runtimes, advanced mathematics, optimization, 3D spatial computing, robotics, motion planning, spacecraft attitude control, DevSecOps test automation, Linux, Git, satellite ground-system command and control, and DevOps pipeline tools.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
