Base Salary
$121k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build frontend solutions for complex customer experience problems across multiple products and user journeys.
- Design and evolve frontend frameworks, components, services, architecture, and coding standards.
- Lead complex features from concept through launch with a focus on quality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write unit tests, improve test coverage, participate in code reviews, and maintain frontend developer workflows.
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks through proofs of concept and performance or scalability analysis.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs that support frontend features.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable technical solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Support appropriate security controls and follow GoodRx security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience delivering products at web scale.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, state management patterns such as Context or Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering, static site generation, and frontend performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, accessibility, web standards, scalability, and reliability.
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs and APIs.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering culture.
- Experience working with distributed teams and communicating complex technical topics to broad audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and solve complex technical problems.
- Preferred experience with Contentful, Datadog, Sentry, New Relic, and full-stack or cross-platform applications.
