Base Salary
$90k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead modernization and migration of multiple MDM applications from IBM WebSphere and legacy Java frameworks.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs.
- Lead WebSphere migration, Tomcat adoption, deployment modernization, and application configuration improvements.
- Drive performance optimization, resiliency, scalability, security, observability, and operational excellence practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, technical mentoring, modernization assessments, dependency evaluations, and migration planning.
- Drive CI/CD adoption, release automation, deployment optimization, production readiness, release planning, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Collaborate with systems analysts, quality engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience leading enterprise application modernization and migration initiatives.
- Strong Java full-stack development experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, middleware modernization, deployment, and application configuration.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor developers, and support migration planning.
- Experience with performance, resiliency, scalability, security, observability, CI/CD, release automation, and operational excellence.
- Must be available for a full-time hybrid role in Westlake, Texas or Smithfield, Rhode Island.
