Base Salary
$155k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop core product features using ETL and GraphQL for data processing and retrieval.
- Design and implement GraphQL backend APIs for data interactions across product components.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with frontend team members to present data clearly and improve user experience.
- Own and manage concurrent initiatives while independently conceiving and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers and provide technical documentation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages.
- Experience building applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP and using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expert proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Neo4j is preferred.
- Experience building GraphQL backends is preferred.
- Experience managing and maintaining production infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience building platform capabilities for internal teams is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, collaboration, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability and interest in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
