Responsibilities
- Build real-time trajectory generation and decision-making for autonomous flight.
- Tackle joint optimization across safety, energy, time, and reliability.
- Plan in uncertain environments with complex dynamics.
- Design safety-critical software for obstacle avoidance and human interaction.
- Extend the autonomy stack for new aircraft and payloads.
- Prove software reliability through large-scale simulation and fault-injection.
- Mine real fleet data to validate safety metrics and improve models.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience building software for safety-critical systems.
- Strong programming skills in Rust/C++/C for real-time code.
- Depth in planning & search algorithms and trajectory optimization.
- Experience with simulation at scale and metrics-driven validation.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade autonomy.
