Responsibilities
- Build automation scripts for product scalability and stability.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand functionality and write robust automation scripts.
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and sprint demos.
- Execute and maintain the automation test suite.
- Evaluate build quality by examining test results from build acceptance tests.
- Define test data and reports for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Raise defects found during evaluations and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of automated tests.
- Engage in a devops mindset toward rapid deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a developer, automation engineer, SDET, or performance engineer.
- 3+ years of experience in automated testing and continuously deployed environments.
- 2+ years of experience coding in Java with strong knowledge of OOPs and Core Java principles.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with API automation using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Selenium.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
