Responsibilities
- Define the roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
- Explain various tradeoffs made in decisions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Lead projects from idea to positive execution.
- Incorporate business context and failure modes in your work.
- Proactively resolve ongoing incidents.
- Support and communicate effectively across teams to achieve results.
- Share knowledge through tech talks and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Experience with NodeJS and Express applications.
- Familiarity with design systems such as Bootstrap or Salesforce Lightning.
- Understanding of web performance and browser/DOM behavior.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to design and improve team-owned components.
- Willingness to investigate and solve problems outside of expertise.
