Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize the QGroundControl-based application using C++ and Qt.
- Integrate application interfaces with joysticks, buttons, switches, and touchscreens.
- Translate user and mission requirements into new features and UX/UI improvements.
- Port and maintain the application across Android versions while ensuring performance, compatibility, and security.
- Manage application updates and releases across the device fleet.
- Collaborate with embedded and electronics teams on hardware/software integration and with QA on field validation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software-development experience with C++ and Qt for desktop or embedded applications.
- Experience with Android development using Java or C++/NDK.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and cross-platform application optimization.
- Robotics or drone-environment experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of MAVLink, PX4, or ground control systems is advantageous.
- English proficiency for reading and writing technical documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt to a fast-evolving technical environment, and learn quickly.
