Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and evolve business functionality and customization code for the INSIS insurance platform.
- Develop Oracle SQL procedures, functions, packages, and related database solutions based on business requirements.
- Build integration architecture with other platforms through APIs and file exchange.
- Create standardized, reusable, maintainable, user-friendly, cost-efficient, and high-performance code.
- Write quality code documentation.
- Collaborate with claims, product, business, partner, and other technical teams.
- Support the development of insurance business knowledge and apply industry best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation requiring 24/7 availability for one week per month.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing Oracle database applications with PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
- Experience developing Java code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, time-management, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and delivering software against aggressive schedules.
- Fluent English.
