Responsibilities
- Design and develop new LIMS features using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations.
- Develop scalable microservices architectures and support cloud-native Kubernetes deployments.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support.
- Monitor application performance and ensure platform reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Support software releases through CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify automation and technical improvement opportunities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java 17, Java 18, and Java 21.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, system integrations, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with microservices architectures and Oracle or other relational databases.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, testing practices, and secure coding principles.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to take ownership, solve problems, communicate effectively, collaborate internationally, and work as part of a team.
