Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable front-end components using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Implement user interfaces from Figma designs and contribute to the enterprise design system.
- Develop and maintain WordPress and Optimizely DXP CMS templates, rendering logic, and authoring experiences.
- Partner with UX designers to meet usability, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and responsive design standards.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, front-end performance, and technical SEO.
- Support Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, data layer, cookie consent, and privacy management implementations.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, QA, Marketing, Analytics, Product Management, Security, and external partners on releases and digital experiences.
- Perform debugging, testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the 2027 Optimizely DXP migration and mature front-end engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6–10 years of professional front-end engineering experience building enterprise websites or digital platforms.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Required experience with WordPress and enterprise CMS platforms; Optimizely experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accessibility, web performance, and modern UX implementation practices.
- Experience working in Agile software development teams.
- Preferred experience with large-scale CMS migrations, website redesigns, component libraries, design systems, Storybook, Google Tag Manager, GA4, technical SEO, and analytics implementations.
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise B2B environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Figma Make is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work across global teams.
