Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test procedures for embedded software applications and integrated systems.
- Develop and debug Python-based automated test scripts, automation frameworks, and test harnesses.
- Perform unit, integration, system, regression, performance, formal, simulated-environment, HWIL, and SIL testing.
- Validate interfaces between software, firmware, and hardware components.
- Analyze test data, identify trends and root causes, and prepare findings, reports, and recommendations.
- Map requirements to test scenarios and verification activities and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Troubleshoot network traffic, protocol behavior, embedded communications, and hardware/software integration using tools such as Wireshark.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
- Use Jira to track defects, manage testing activities, document issues, and support SAFe workflows.
- Create and maintain Software Test Plans, Software Test Descriptions, and Software Test Reports.
- Support test planning, effort estimation, scheduling, requirements reviews, technical reviews, milestone reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Test Review Boards, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, integration, and verification of embedded systems, or at least 2 years with a master's degree.
- Currently holds a Secret security clearance or can obtain one.
- Experience testing embedded systems and integrated hardware/software platforms.
- Experience with software test automation, automated test environments, and automation framework development.
- Strong Python scripting, debugging, troubleshooting, and complex test-data analysis skills.
- Experience mapping requirements to test scenarios, procedures, and verification activities and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Experience validating software, firmware, and hardware interfaces and supporting regression and performance testing.
- Experience with network analysis and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark.
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking, task management, and SAFe workflow support.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and producing software test documentation.
- Experience conducting unit, integration, regression, performance, and formal testing and documenting post-test results.
