Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance C++ live trading systems for market data, order entry, and order lifecycle processing.
- Develop business-specific trading platforms and infrastructure for new markets and strategic initiatives.
- Build real-time risk infrastructure implementing pre-trade and post-trade controls.
- Maintain backtesting infrastructure for evaluating systematic strategies against large-scale historical market data.
- Produce reliable, high-throughput datasets and compute engines for post-trade analysis.
- Debug production incidents, trace data through pipelines, and own root-cause fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++ with hands-on experience working with large-scale systems.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, networking concepts, and operating systems.
- Solid debugging skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases quickly.
- Comfort working in Linux environments, including command-line tools, debugging, and bare-metal systems.
- Clean production-quality coding, proactive ownership, cross-team collaboration, adaptability, and rigorous data analysis.
- Preferred qualifications include system performance optimization, Python, open-source contributions, statistics or data analysis, finance or economics knowledge, and competitive programming experience.
