Base Salary
$108k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver modern web applications for Schwab’s retail investor experiences.
- Build responsive full-stack web applications and Single Page Applications with emphasis on front-end development.
- Develop and consume APIs using .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Apply software design principles, unit testing, and secure software development practices.
- Support application maintenance, incident response, and production stability initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, business partners, and distributed teams across time zones.
- Contribute to Scrum delivery, continuous improvement, peer mentoring, and technical problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of full-stack web application development experience with an emphasis on front-end development.
- Experience developing web applications with .NET and C#.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, or similar client-side frameworks.
- Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs and building responsive web applications and Single Page Applications.
- Knowledge of software design principles, application development best practices, testing practices, and secure software development.
- Understanding of Agile software development and participation in Scrum-based delivery teams.
- Ability to support application maintenance, incident response, and production stability work.
- Preferred experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, data pipelines, data stores, analytics, or machine learning initiatives.
- Preferred experience managing requirements through roadmaps, epics, backlogs, and Agile planning activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, influence peers, evaluate technical problems using data, and deliver high-quality work with minimal revisions.
