Base Salary

$114k - $213k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain mission operational software product lines.
  • Develop new software capabilities supporting national security missions.
  • Design and develop scalable backend solutions and RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services.
  • Work within a large team comprising multiple specialized software subsystems.
  • Use server-side programming languages including C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
  • Support software development in Agile and DevOps pipeline environments.
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements

  • Level 3 requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, a master's degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Level 4 requires a bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, a master's degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Must have an active SCI clearance or an active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI before the start date.
  • Object-oriented programming skills and experience with scalable backend development are required.
  • Experience with C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java is required.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services is required.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes, containerized software runtimes, advanced mathematics, optimization, 3D spatial computing, robotics, motion planning, spacecraft attitude control, DevSecOps test automation, Linux, Git, satellite ground systems, and DevOps pipeline tools.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
