Responsibilities
- Define and advance enterprise cloud architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into cloud architecture specifications covering AI/ML frameworks, data ingestion, integrations, transformations, and migrations.
- Design and implement core AWS and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity, resiliency, governance, and operational capabilities.
- Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives, including legacy application modernization, containerization, rehosting, replatforming, and hybrid integration.
- Develop enterprise cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, developer self-service, Terraform, and GitOps practices.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams on GenAI/LLM integration, AI-enabled automation and analytics, and MLOps.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships, identify knowledge gaps, coordinate training, and communicate architecture recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
- Maintain complete architecture documentation and contribute to long-term enterprise IT planning.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum seven years of experience as a Cloud Architect.
- Skilled in AWS, hybrid systems, and protocols related to AI governance, data governance, and security.
- Demonstrated platform engineering experience, including enterprise cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer self-service.
- Expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration for cloud modernization, microservices, platform engineering, and DevOps.
- Experience designing enterprise cloud networking architectures, including multi-region connectivity, hybrid-cloud integration, traffic management, network security, and high availability.
- Experience architecting complex on-premises-to-cloud migrations and legacy application modernization.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, cloud automation, and GitOps across AWS and hybrid environments.
- Experience with enterprise architecture management platforms; LeanIX is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise, application, infrastructure, and cloud architecture; cloud networking; identity and access management; Zero Trust; encryption; resiliency; disaster recovery; and regulatory compliance.
- Strong AWS architecture expertise across compute, networking, storage, databases, containers, serverless, security, and observability.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills; financial-sector experience is an asset.

- Annual base salary of $123,000 to $158,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus.
