Responsibilities
- Develop clean, modular, and reusable Python code.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Work with CSV, JSON, and XML file formats.
- Build applications using OpenAI Chat Completions, Assistants, and Embeddings APIs.
- Apply prompt engineering, prompt optimization, function calling, tool integration, and RAG patterns.
- Manage tokens, rate limits, and costs, and apply fine-tuning concepts where applicable.
- Implement exception handling and logging.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience writing clean, modular, and reusable code.
- Knowledge of exception handling, logging, and virtual environments using venv, Poetry, or Pipenv.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering, function calling, tool integration, RAG, token management, rate limits, cost optimization, and applicable fine-tuning concepts.
