Responsibilities
- Write maintainable, testable, and performant software for consumer and enterprise web applications.
- Develop and deliver web applications using Java and Spring Boot within a software development team.
- Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing.
- Research new technologies and tools and share findings with the team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members while improving development workflows and processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience building and delivering modern production-grade web applications in a team environment.
- Strong Java programming skills using Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.
- Frontend JavaScript framework experience with React, Angular, or a similar framework.
- Deep understanding of modern web application components, including APIs, templating, routing, data storage, design patterns, optimization, caching, and security.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTTP, the DOM, SSL, and web servers.
- Fluency with relational databases or NoSQL databases.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with WordPress, AEM, Sitefinity, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, GraphQL, ElasticSearch, Serverless, or Next.js.
- BrainStation coursework is considered a bonus.
