Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, scripts, tools, and utilities.
- Perform unit, component, white-box, functional, regression, performance, load, security, API, and service virtualization testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with continuous integration tools and maintain test automation infrastructure.
- Build and deploy test environments, generate test data, and create testing reports and metrics.
- Develop test plans, conditions, and cases with stakeholders, developers, business teams, and clients.
- Track defects and resolutions, participate in root cause analysis, and recommend improvements to code quality and testability.
- Coordinate assigned test activities and provide testing feedback to internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Typically at least two years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and development.
- Preferred: master’s degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field.
- Preferred: typically at least four years of experience developing automated testing strategies across varied environments and frameworks.
- Experience or knowledge with Java, Selenium, C#, Perl, Python, Groovy, Oracle, SQL, and software testing tools is relevant to the role.
