Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy for assigned customers across discovery, technical close, MVP, pilot, production adoption, and scaling.
- Lead architecture-led customer conversations across Azure AI, application innovation, data platforms, developer tools, cloud operations, governance, and security.
- Design end-to-end solutions using Azure services and modern application technologies.
- Deliver demos, whiteboarding sessions, architecture workshops, proofs of concept, pilots, and technical validations.
- Translate customer goals and business priorities into decision criteria, success plans, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify and remove architecture, security, capacity, quota, migration, integration, and operational readiness blockers.
- Partner with account teams, specialists, customer success, engineering, product, and partners to support pipeline and opportunity progression.
- Capture reusable patterns, field feedback, lessons learned, and customer insights for global scale.
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, cloud architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or an equivalent customer-facing technical role.
- Ability to influence CTOs, founders, engineering leaders, architects, product leaders, and other technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on understanding of cloud architecture and modern application design, including security, reliability, scalability, integration, and operations.
- Practical experience with AI, data, analytics, application modernization, or developer platform solutions on Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience creating demos, prototypes, proofs of concept, pilots, or MVPs that lead to technical decisions and production adoption.
- Strong communication, storytelling, collaboration, consensus-building, and commercial judgment skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred depth in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, agentic systems, RAG, Azure Kubernetes Service, containers, serverless, API platforms, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Power BI, or GitHub.
- Preferred experience with startups, SMBs, SaaS, marketplace, venture-backed, or product-led-growth customer scenarios.
- Preferred understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, security, compliance, model evaluation, observability, cost management, and FinOps.
- Preferred experience supporting technical sales motions, competitive positioning, and objection handling.
- Spoken and written Mandarin fluency is preferred but not required.
