Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and operational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree, in an industry setting.
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, or storage.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Experience with distributed systems and algorithms.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience writing high-quality code in C++ or another general-purpose language.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale distributed systems, especially storage systems, operating or developing large-scale services, and cloud storage systems.
