Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure health research tools and platform features.
- Support data storage, large-scale analysis, and algorithm development for health research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders and drive technical features and improvements.
- Help ensure research participant data remains safe, private, and secure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing, testing, and delivering software.
- 7+ years of experience with an object-oriented programming language, with Java or Python preferred.
- Deep experience with microservices architecture and API patterns.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, or blob storage is preferred.
- Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure and platform services is preferred.
