Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver full-stack product features using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions.
- Develop and optimize database logic across MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
- Lead code and design reviews and contribute to high- and low-level system design.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders to evaluate technical approaches and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers while helping establish technical standards and improve engineering quality.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience with deep expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST API design.
- Advanced proficiency with MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and experience producing modular, clean, and testable code.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering microservices architectures.
- Practical experience with Git-based source control workflows and Jira.
- Knowledge of systems analysis, architecture fundamentals, unit testing, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical decisions to engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery frameworks and sprint-based development is beneficial.
- Ability to produce and interpret sequence diagrams and class diagrams is beneficial.
- Previous technology leadership experience influencing technical standards or guiding delivery across a team is beneficial.
