Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for the accounting product, including member-facing and internal tools.
- Work on the integration layer with partners, extending APIs and improving data reliability.
- Enhance the transaction pipeline for better reliability and observability.
- Own features end-to-end, from defining the approach to deployment and iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate workflows into software.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools to accelerate development and reduce manual tasks.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in building and shipping production software.
- Solid fullstack engineering skills, including Python, Django, and React.
- Experience with third-party API integration and handling real-world data.
- Hands-on experience with AI developer tools in daily workflows.
- Ability to drive well-scoped problems to shipped solutions with minimal guidance.
- Good product and UX instincts for making scope tradeoffs.
- Clear communication skills, especially for explaining technical concepts to non-engineers.
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehouses, preferably BigQuery.
- Interest in accounting, fintech, or payroll domains.
