Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, multi-level IVR applications, call routing, queues, callbacks, and automated self-service capabilities.
- Develop conversational AI solutions with Amazon Lex, including chatbots, voicebots, intents, and dialog management.
- Build serverless application components and cloud integrations using AWS Lambda, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related AWS services.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with Salesforce Health Cloud and other enterprise applications for customer identification, screen pops, case creation, activity logging, and data exchange.
- Develop workforce management, call recording, transcription, contact analytics, operational reporting, REST API, authentication, and event-driven integration capabilities.
- Execute unit tests, integration tests, automated validation, code reviews, release planning, CI/CD activities, and production deployments.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support, troubleshoot complex application and contact center issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation, contact flow diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Follow DoD and DHA cybersecurity, privacy, and information protection requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Amazon Connect development or comparable cloud contact center application development experience.
- Experience designing and implementing IVR, call routing, contact flows, or automated contact center solutions.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable programming languages; AWS Lambda; REST APIs; JSON; authentication; and enterprise application integrations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Connect queues, routing profiles, contact flows, and contact handling concepts.
- Experience with Git-based source control, Agile development, software testing, application deployment, and AWS security concepts such as IAM, encryption, and secure application integration.
- Ability to meet applicable DoD and DHA personnel security and suitability requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Health Cloud or Service Cloud, Amazon Lex, AWS GovCloud, AWS services such as API Gateway and DynamoDB, Contact Lens, Amazon Transcribe, workforce management, federal healthcare programs, HIPAA, FedRAMP, DoD RMF, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, SIP, PSTN, healthcare systems, CRM platforms, and enterprise identity management.
Benefits
- The stated pay range is $107,900.00–$195,050.00.
- The position supports DoD and DHA healthcare missions and may involve regulated government cloud environments.
