Base Salary
$80k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support platform UI development for species displays, geographic query interfaces, and consultation package builder front-end updates.
- Lead development of accessible web-based training content and self-paced online learning modules.
- Create recorded training videos, job aids, and online help resources for government and public audiences.
- Design and develop a Training and Adoption Metrics Dashboard tracking usage, training completion, and consultation volume by user group and office.
- Ensure training content meets Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards.
- Support the User Testing and Training Plan with web-based delivery specifications and content development timelines.
- Monitor the deployed platform UI and resolve reported interface issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, master’s degree with 3 years, associate’s degree with 7 years, or high school diploma with 9 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of web development experience, including web-based training content or e-learning platform development.
- Proficiency with React, Angular, or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing Section 508-compliant web content and e-learning materials.
- Experience with Git or equivalent version control platforms.
- Experience building data dashboards or metrics reporting tools.
- Familiarity with federal web development standards.
- U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, and ability to work within the United States are required.
- Preferred qualifications include LMS experience with platforms such as Moodle or Cornerstone, DHS Certified Trusted Tester certification or Section 508 expertise, data visualization experience with D3.js, Chart.js, or Plotly, SCORM or xAPI experience, and federal training program development experience.
