Responsibilities

  • Define technical solutions through research and team investigation in line with CTO-directed strategy.
  • Design and construct full-stack software, deployment architectures, automated testing, and third-party integrations.
  • Guide proofs of concept into production and mentor team members on technologies and practices.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on solution design, roadmaps, and delivery within agreed budgets.
  • Migrate polyglot solutions toward standardized Rust and TypeScript and more portable deployment architectures.
  • Contribute to distributed and asynchronous enterprise systems using microservices and messaging.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including enterprise-level complexity.
  • High proficiency in at least one enterprise-quality programming language and ecosystem, such as C# with .NET or Java with Spring.
  • Experience with a lower-level language such as Rust or C++.
  • Experience with TypeScript and React or similar front-end frameworks and a strong understanding of web application development.
  • Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, building CI/CD pipelines, and using infrastructure scripting frameworks such as Terraform.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and constructing distributed and asynchronous architectures, including microservices and messaging.
  • Experience using LLMs in software delivery and articulating their effects on development speed and system safety.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise design documents with LLM assistance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
