Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable payment systems that process millions of transactions daily.
- Own backend services end-to-end from architecture through production.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, and Finance.
- Drive technical vision and execution for the Payment Rails roadmap.
- Integrate with internal and external partners for seamless money movement.
- Contribute to engineering excellence by mentoring teammates and participating in design reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
- Strong coding skills in Go or similar languages.
- Experience designing and operating production services at scale.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system design principles.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Passionate about building an open financial system.
